All year i thought that I got really lucky. I live on north campus; last semester i could roll out of bed and be in my nine o clock class in 10 minutes. If I was hungry then i could be at Lenoir in 4 minutes. But this semester I have business 100. So i have to get myself up and dress for my eight o clock class by 7:30 or else I'm late. I figured out today that not only is it a 20-30 minute walk up and down the giant hill but also it is six flights of stairs up from the parking lot I cut through. I learned this today when i had to walk down there at 5:30 in the misty/rain wonderland. i thought about using my friend's bike but i'm pretty sure i'm too lazy to ride it back up the hill. i think i might figure out the bus system; i fail at buses.
i will apologizes for the lack of caps in the last half of my post, because about half way through my computer started acting weird. now every time i hit shift my internet goes back a page. this is annoying ... and slightly unsettling.

haha that's funny...but yeah I know what you mean. I live on south campus and it's always a 20 minute walk/bus ride (the buses are so slow!). But last semester I started every morning up near the music building which is half way between cameron and franklin. I think for a while there I walked a min of 4 miles a day, but then I started having problems with my feet/ankles hurting. So anyways I feel for you!
ReplyDeleteI am in Busi100 too! the b-school is so far a walk from the other buildings. funny thing is, the buses fill so quickly w/ students from business classes right after. even knowing the system may not help you get back any sooner...
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree, i live in granville and 3 of my 5 classes are by the bell tower. On top of that, right after my class down there on MWF i have another class that's a fifteen minute walk away and i only have ten minutes to get there. I have become a power walker all the time and can't stay the same pace as people when I'm just hangin out. Very good point.
